Bugs and slugs and wiggly worms
Crawling and sprawling and racing about.
Green ones and red ones and black ones and
Oooohhh!
Slimy ones and jumpy ones
And grumpy ones, too!
Fuzzy ones and icky ones
And stinky ones,
Eeeew!
I see bugs and slugs and wiggly worms
Inching and pinching around my toes,
Swooping and swishing around my nose!
Some buzzing the treetops,
Some crouched beneath leaves,
Everyone one of them doing
Just as they please!
My, oh my, what shall I do?
What would you do if this were you?
Would you shout? Would you run?
Would you twiddle your thumbs?
Or put a bug on your knee
And have some bug fun?
As for me,
I'll be as quiet as I can be,
As silent as a little flea,
So all these bugs won't see me!
Shhhhh...
