Monochrome moments
Meet the blaze of sky,
The technicolor of life distilled
A familiar scent stirs up
Earthy aphrodisiac,
Her carpet of faded glory.
Threads of a life woven,
Now unraveling.
Memories soak up
The colors of her too short years.
And my naked breath
Caught in trepidation,
Is surprised at my fear.
Is it time already?
